Magdalene Hope was birthed in March of 2009. We have seen hundreds of lives transformed by the Love of Christ.
We at MH are a group of believers, called to minister the Love of Christ to people who society looks down upon. We take what we do seriously and every life to us is precious. We are serious about what we do, we find joy in doing the work that God has called us to.
Our vision is to continue to minister to those (Prostitutes, Pimps and Johns) that are involved in the sex industry here in Bakersfield, CA and eventually Nevada and Thailand. We desire to have a facility (safe house) so that we can house the women we get off the street and offer an alternative way to make an income. We would like to offer vocational training, child care, biblical counsel, domestic/substance abuse counseling, case management, bible studies/church and other resources.
We welcome you to come join the street team/prayer team or partner with us in any way you can.
